If you're using TimeForge and LightSpeed, you can link the two systems. This will allow you to create employees in LightSpeed and have them appear in TimeForge, allow employees to clock in through LightSpeed and have the attendance appear in TimeForge, and synchronize your sales from LightSpeed into TimeForge.
The first step is to link the two systems inside of TimeForge. This article will discuss this process from the Corporation Level for companies with multiple TimeForge locations.
Note: For companies with only one location, the only difference is the first step. You will simply hover over "Set Up" and click "Settings" and then follow the remaining steps.
Go to the "Company Settings" page
To first start the integration between LightSpeed and TimeForge, you'll first need to authenticate your LightSpeed account inside of TimeForge. This is done on the "Company Settings" screen at the corporation level:
- Go to the Corporation Level
- Hover over "Setup" and click "Company Settings".
Scroll down to the bottom of the page
Turn on the online POS integration
At the bottom of the page, you'll find the options shown above. You'll need to:
1. Change this option to "Yes" so that the integration for online POS systems is turned on.
2. Click "Add" in the LightSpeed row so that you can log in to your LightSpeed account.
Click "Save" once you're finished.
Enter your LightSpeed login information
Enter the username and password you use to log in to your lightspeed account. Then, click "Sign in".
Authorize TimeForge to access your LightSpeed account
Clicking "Authorize Application" gives TimeForge permission to communicate with your LightSpeed account. This is how TimeForge will be able to have new employees who are added into LightSpeed automatically show up in TimeForge, synchronize clock in times and sales data, and enforce the schedule to prevent early clock in/late clock out.
TimeForge can now communicate with your LightSpeed POS. You will still need to activate the integration at the location level in order to start pulling over information.
