Enroll a fingerprint on the USB Fingerprint Scanner

If you use the TimeForge Standalone TimeClock, you have the ability to clock in/out with a fingerprint scanner. The steps below will help you enroll your employees' fingerprints.

Be sure the fingerprint scanner is plugged in to the computer!

Login to the Standalone TimeClock

A manger must log in to enroll fingerprints. If you are a manager and have not enrolled your own fingerprint, first log in with your internal number and password. Otherwise, you can log in with your fingerprint.

Login to the Standalone TimeClock

Select Manager Options

Click Manager Options.

Select Manager Options

Select Register Fingerprint

Now click on Register Fingerprint.

Select Register Fingerprint

Select the Employee

Find the employee that you want to enroll, then click Register.

Select Employee

This window will pop up and ask for the employee's fingerprint. You will be prompted to place the same finger on the scanner three times.

After successfully registering the employee's fingerprint, you will receive a message asking you whether you'd like to enroll another fingerprint.

If you do want enroll another fingerprint, hit Yes and it will go through the scan steps again.

Otherwise, select No, then click OK to return to the previous screen.

Test the new fingerprint!

Be sure to have the employee(s) test his/her fingerprint(s) at least once to make sure they were accurately recorded.
