Organize your locations in the Company Hierarchy
Updated onArticleTimeForge enables you to set up multiple locations in the TimeForge system to represent the physical locations of your stores. If you run a corporation or a company with multiple businesses, with each business having multiple locations, this can quickly become complicated. Organizing the levels of hierarchy in your operation will help make things run smoothly.
For example, your company is Joe's Confections. Joe's Confections owns Joe's Bakery and Joe's Candy. There are two Joe's Candy stores. The hierarchy would be (top to bottom): Confections at the top, then Bakery and Candy Store in the middle, then Bakery, Candy store #1 and Candy store #2 at the bottom.

Choose the widgets on your Location dashboard (Today page)
Updated onArticleUsing widgets, Managers can customize their Today page dashboard so that they see the content they're most interested in right when they log into TimeForge. Widgets are interactive: they can be moved around, resized, and selected to best suit your needs. They are designed to provide useful information at-a-glance while also making it easy to navigate to the in-depth details when needed.
There are widgets for both the Location tab (only available to management) and the Personal tab (available to everyone).
- Location widgets provide managers with useful information pertaining to that store or location, such as employee schedules, pending shift swaps awaiting manager approval, pending requests, employee birthdays, job applicants, daily log entries, labor costs, weekly sales, and other metrics.
- Personal widgets provide employees with helpful reminders, information, and shortcuts, such as my requests, messages, HR documents, clock-in/out button, available shifts, and who else is scheduled to work.
This article provides a brief overview of each widget on the Location dashboard.

Cancel a TimeForge account
Updated onArticleTimeForge accounts can be canceled at any time. TimeForge values each and every customer and strives to keep them satisfied and their accounts active, but we understand that we are not always the best fit. Customers are not required to sign any contracts and can cancel their TimeForge accounts at their own discretion. However, here are some helpful things to keep in mind when canceling an account:
- You are solely responsible for properly canceling your account. An email or phone request to cancel an account is not considered cancellation. You can cancel your account at any time by clicking on the Payment Options link in the Set Up tab at the top of the screen. The Payment Options screen provides a simple, no questions asked cancellation link.
- All of your content will be immediately deleted from the service upon cancellation. This information cannot be recovered once your account is canceled.
- If you cancel the service before the end of your current paid up month, your cancellation will take effect immediately and you will not be charged again.

Why do my employees see Re-confirm?
Updated onArticleTimeForge gives employers the option to have employees confirm their shifts. This allows employers to get a quick visual of which employees are aware of a shift. It can also help ensure that your employee schedule and your actual attendance will be as close as possible. Even though most employees are trustworthy and loyal, occasionally someone may claim ignorance about a given schedule. The "confirm shift" feature gives the employer the chance to prove knowledge about a shift.
Furthermore, an employer can have employees confirm their shift a few days out, and then re-confirm the shift on the actual day it occurs. This is useful for many businesses that have employees out on location such as a catering company.
