2022 Release Notes

Release Version 2212 | December

Improvements and Fixes:

  • Employee names with quotation marks should save properly in the employee information page. 
  • Resolved an issue that would sometimes reset an employee's home location.
  • Resolved an issue that would sometimes prevent the display of form fields in the employee information page. 
  • Resolved issues on the employee form that would sometimes prevent changing or deleting an employee's email address.
  • Fixed an issue that would prevent managers without location access to update an employee without a home location.
  • Managers without payrate access can now hire employees if they have hiring permissions.
  • Resolved an issue that sometimes prevented users from loading the Applicants page. 
  • Update to prevent Chrome from autofilling payroll ID field in employee profile.

Release Version 2207 | July

Improvements and Fixes:

  • Resolved an issue with copying breaks in Daily View that would allow users to create duplicate shifts for the same employee.
  • Resolved an issue with the Weekly Averages report that prevented it from completing in very rare cases.
  • Stability improvements for our RPO integration to make it more streamlined and to prevent syncing issues caused by duplicate emails.
  • All eligible documents in an HR Activity should now be assigned to employees as appropriate.
  • Added syncing of negative sales for our CBS NorthStar integration. Sales in TimeForge are now a 1:1 match with NorthStar's data.

New Features:

  • We are expanding our Paycor integration to handle more employee data, including employee names, departments/positions, pay rates, and hire dates.

Release  Version 2206 | June

Improvements and Fixes:

  • Improved penalty tracking for close/opens. If you operate in a region with clopening laws, TimeForge can automatically track close/opens and apply penalties to help keep you compliant.
  • When a manager override is required on the timeclock, employees are now instructed to inform their manager of the override request.
  • Stability improvements for the Time Machine timeclock to resolve an intermittent issue with fingerprint reader connectivity. The fingerprint reader will now reconnect automatically.
  • New and improved sales integration with CBS NorthStar. The improved integration adds more detail and offers additional configuration options!
  • Improved labor metrics in the Manager Mobile app. Clocked-in employees are now included in the app's real-time labor and sales calculations.

Release Version 2204 | April

Improvements and Fixes:

  • Stability improvements for our CBS integration.
  • Updated the logic for the Paycor payroll exports for salaried managers.
  • Updated the date on manager approvals for our Approved PTO Requests report to display time in local time.
  • Released a new report, Attendance Audit CSV, which allows you to see the modifications to your location's attendance over a period of time. 
  • Released another new report, Payroll Detail CSV, which contains a robust amount of information related to employee attendance, broken down by shift and pay code.

Release Version 2203 | March

Improvements and Fixes:

  • Improved our support for Canada OT for multilocation customers using different EINs, so that OT calculates on a per-location basis, based on an existing setting toggle.
  • Worked with Paycor to update our existing Paycor export file to support Shift Differential and Tip payouts.
  • Improved our CBS NorthStar integration to better handle one-way syncs from TimeForge to CBS and two-way syncs between both systems.

Release Version 2202 | February

Improvements and Fixes:

  • Certain pages (such as Attendance Options, Company Settings, and Location Settings) will now automatically use their updated and more responsive versions instead of the older TimeForge style.
  • For pages that aren't ready to display the updated style just yet, we fixed some issues to ensure information would display properly.
  • We made some tweaks to the Time Machine to decrease its memory load further.

Release Version 2201 | January

Improvements and Fixes:

  • We pushed out an update to make it easier for customers to use single sign-on integrations.
  • We released an update to the Time Machine to improve the way it stores large amounts of data over time.
  • We're getting ready to release our centralized Shift4 Payments integration. If you're interested in using it to connect to Restaurant Manager, Future POS, or Harbor Touch, please let us know!
