Show temperature check during clock-ins
Updated onArticleTimeForge allows managers to enable temperature checks at their location. With temperature screening enabled, when an employee attempts to clock in for their shift, they will be prompted to answer the question, "Is your body temperature over 100 F?" If the employee answers No, they will be clocked in normally. If the employee answers Yes, they will be prevented from clocking in, and instructions will be shown on screen to wait for a manager. TimeForge will automatically send a message to the manager to let them know the employee is waiting. This feature works on browser-based clock-ins and on our hardware time clocks. It also works alongside our COVID-19 Health Questionnaire, which prompts employees to answer a few quick questions recommended by the CDC.

Show COVID-19 questionnaire during clock-ins
Updated onArticleTo help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, TimeForge can prompt a health questionnaire during clock-in. The questionnaire presents the employee with a few quick questions similar to those used in the CDC Facilities COVID-19 Screening. If the employee answers No to all of the screening questions, they will be clocked in normally. If the employee answers Yes to any of the questions, they will be prevented from clocking in, and instructions will be shown on screen to wait until a manager arrives. TimeForge will automatically send a message to the manager to let them know that the employee is waiting. This feature currently works on our browser based clock-ins at this time. It works alongside our temperature check feature, which can be enabled per location.

Create Leave Policies, such as "Sick Leave" and "Vacation"
Updated onArticleThis guide teaches Managers how to create and use Leave Policies, such as "Vacation" or "Sick Leave." Leave policies in TimeForge can be Location-based, Corporation-wide, or applied only to specific individuals. Location-based leave could be useful if your corporate office gets PTO but your call center doesn't, for example. Location-based leave could also be useful if your business has locations spread across multiple states and those states have different PTO rules.

Create a Document to store and assign HR forms
Updated onArticleTimeForge is capable of keeping track of employee information, including HR documents, such as I-9s, W-4s, training manuals, insurance verification, certifications, and other forms that are applicable to the labor management needs of your business. By creating Documents, you can organize these forms for easy configuration and retrieval. Documents are further filed under specific categories that are provided by TimeForge. Add an HR document directly to an employee's profile
Updated onArticleTimeForge makes it easy to onboard your employees! From the employee profile, you can add forms and important documents for them to review, sign, and submit. When the employee logs in, they'll be notified of the tasks they need to complete or forms they need to fill out as part of their onboarding process, such as reading the company handbook and signing an acknowledgment form. Although this tutorial is focused on onboarding, the steps below can also be used to add prehire documents, ongoing training documents, offboarding forms, annual notices, and certifications to an individual employee's profile. To learn how to add multiple documents at once from a template, check out our tutorial on HR Activities!
